Timeline[edit]
- July 12th - Franchise is officially announced, as part of the first seven franchises of the Overwatch League.[1]
- September 28th - San Francisco officially reveals their roster for Overwatch League Season 1. sinatraa, super, dhaK, Danteh, iddqd, babybay, sleepy and nomy join the team, with sinatraa and super joining the starting lineup when they meet the league's age requirement of 18.[2]
- October 16th - The San Francisco franchise officially reveal their new name, the San Francisco Shock.[3][4]
- October 30th - The team announces that they have signed Nevix.[5]
- November 6th - Manager Hotaruz is fired from NRG Esports and the San Francisco Shock franchise after sexual assault allegations.[6]
- November 15th - LegitRc is announced to have joined the Shock Coaching staff.[7]
- November 30th - harsha announces he has joined the team as an Analyst.[8]
- February 12th - Junkbuck joins the team's Coaching staff.[9]
