  • There are 5 regions for all online tournaments:
  • Only Challenger Circuits and Preseason Qualifiers are opened for signing up.

Qualifiers[edit]

Preseason Qualifiers[edit]

  • The four online Preseason Qualifier tournaments will take place on October 8-10, October 15-17, October 22-24, and October 29-31, 2022
  • The winning team from each region in each Preseason Qualifier will automatically qualify for Split 1 of the Pro League
  • Following all four Preseason Qualifier tournaments, the top 4 teams in each region by cumulative points earned throughout the qualifiers will also qualify for Split 1 of the Pro League

Split 2 Pro League Qualifier[edit]

  • The ALGS Split 2 Pro League Qualifier will take place in January 2023, prior to the Split 1 Playoffs. This online tournament pits the bottom eight teams from each region’s Pro League Split 1 Regular Season against top 22 teams in each region’s Split 1 Challenger Circuit to determine the 8 teams who will advance to the Pro League in Split 2.

Last Chance Qualifier[edit]

  • This online tournament will have total 40 teams playing Double Elimination Format.
    • All teams from Pro League Split 2 which don't qualify to Championship
    • Remaining slots will all give to teams from Split 2 Challenger Circuit
  • Top 2 teams of each region will advance to Championship

Challenger Circuit[edit]

Split 1[edit]

  • Each Challenger Circuit split will feature four open registration weekend tournaments in all regions
  • Following the four Challenger Circuit tournaments in Split 1, each circuit winner (total 4 teams) and top 18 teams by ALGS points earned throughout the Split in each region will qualify for the Split 2 Pro League Qualifier

Split 2[edit]

  • Same format with Split 1, top (40 - N) teams by ALGS points earned throughout the Split in each region will qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier.
    • N: The amount of Pro League Split 2 teams which aren't qualified for the championship.

Pro League[edit]

Split 1[edit]

  • All 5 regions of the Pro League will be comprised of 30 teams:
    • 22 directly invited teams
    • 8 teams from the Preseason Qualifiers
  • The 30 teams in each region will be seeded into three groups of ten teams each using ALGS Year 2 and Preseason Qualifier performance
  • The Pro League Regular Season will consist of nine days of online competition in which teams will compete in a triple round-robin format (each group plays each other group three times)
  • In total, each team will play 36 games in the Regular Season across six series of six games each.
  • After the 36 games, each team will rank by the placement points
  • Top 20 teams of the split regular season will play an additional match called "regional final"
  • Regional final will give placement points as well, and using match score system
  • After the regional final, top 4 or 9 teams and the regional final winner will qualify to the playoff.
  • At the end of the Split 1 Regular Season, the bottom eight teams in each region will be relegated to the Split 2 Pro League Qualifier, where they will battle against Split 1 Challenger Circuit top 22 teams for a spot in the Split 2 Pro League

Split 2[edit]

  • Split 2 will include another run of Pro League Regular Season, all formats are same as Split 1
    • Only the qualification team amount of the regular season have changed
  • At the end of the Split 2 Regular Season, all teams which don't qualify to Championship will advance to Last Chance Qualifier

Playoffs[edit]

Split 1[edit]

  • At the end of the Pro League’s Split 1 Regular Season comes the Playoffs where, should conditions allow, 40 teams will compete in-person for $1,000,000 USD and global bragging rights.
  • Top 9 teams of NA/EMEA/APAC-N and top 4 teams of SA/APAC-S of their regular season will be qualified for the Split 1 playoff.
  • The winner of each regional final will advance to the playoff as well.
  • The playoff will be using Group Stage and Double Elimination Format, and held as LAN event.
  • Each region will count their total "playoff point", every 295 points will let the region have an additional slot in Split 2 playoff.

Split 2[edit]

  • Same format with Split 1
  • Top 7 teams of NA/EMEA/APAC-N and top 3 teams of SA/APAC-S of their regular season will be qualified for the Split 2 playoff.
